The Buffalo River Rampage returns to Perry County for its third year on July 25. Hosted by the Perry County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism in partnership with Buffalo River Resort, the event honors a much-beloved Perry County tradition dating back over 30 years.

As in years past, the 2020 Rampage will feature a 5-mile homemade raft race on the scenic Buffalo River. Each team can have a three-man crew and use inner-tube flotation only. The event also includes an 8-mile kayak race ending at Buffalo River Resort. Participants may bring their own kayak or rent one for a reduced fee, and the resort will provide transportation to the launch site.

Plenty of fun and cash prizes are in store for Rampage participants, who can also register to participate in the cornhole tournament. All registration and sponsorship information is available online at theperrychamber.com.

For more information, contact Perry County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Allyson Hinson Dickey at (931) 589-2453 or allyson@theperrychamber.com.
