Thursday Night Fishing Club Music Series at The Fontanel

The Farm House Restaurant at Fontanel helps jump start the weekend with the second installment of its biweekly Thursday Night Fishing Club Music Series.

A.J Croce will perform Jan. 13. Croce, son of critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter Jim Croce who had such hits as “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown,” has released eight albums. His most recent is the 2009 release, “Cage of Muses.”

Opry legend Jan Howard will appear Thursday, Jan. 27. Often referred to as one of the “Grand Ladies” of the Grand Ole Opry, Howard has placed 30 singles from over 20 albums on the Billboard country music charts.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and music kicks off at 6:00 p.m. In addition to specials on the Farm House Restaurant menu, the evening will feature free drawings for fishing rods, reels, baits, tackle and passes to tour the Fontanel Mansion.

Reservations for the Thursday Night Fishing Club Music Series at the Farm House Restaurant at Fontanel are strongly encouraged and can be made by calling 615-724-1601.

The Fontanel Mansion, a 27,000-square-foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame member Barbara Mandrell, is about 15 minutes from downtown Nashville.
