The Upper Cumberland Quilt Festival returns to Algood for its 31st year this September. Taking place at five different locations in the community, the festival includes more than 500 unique quilts, quilted products and needlework art pieces on display. Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to attend a live history presentation at the White Plains House, as well as demonstrations and workshops on spinning, weaving, hand quilting and more.
The event will take place Sept. 20-21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. With an admission fee of $6 to benefit the Algood Senior Center, attendees will have access to all five locations on both days.
