The Fayette County Cotton Festival Celebrates 20 Years

Held annually on the second Saturday in September, the Fayette County Cotton Festival celebrates its 20th year this fall. The family-friendly event, which draws in over 3,500 attendees, celebrates agriculture in Fayette County with a variety of food and craft vendors, live musical entertainment, a car show, a canning and cooking contest, and the annual Fayette Cares High Cotton 5K Color Run and Walk.

The festival also features a kid center with children’s activities, as well as the Lil’ Miss and Miss Cotton Festival Pageant for girls.
