National Cornbread Festival

You can follow that up with the National Cornbread Festival in South Pittsburg, which is just outside of Chattanooga. This festival, held April 25-26, 2020, celebrates the great Southern side dish of cornbread with the National Cornbread Cook-Off, and over the two days, you can sample many cornbreads and main dish recipes. You can also tour the foundry that’s home to Lodge Manufacturing Co. – to see what’s in store, check out our video of the Lodge cast iron skillets factory. Before you go, check out 11-year-old Marissa Brown’s festival-award-winning recipe for Berry Delightful Cornmeal Cake.

How do go about getting listed on here? We are becoming a very popular venue and so much more than a great Restaurant and have so much planned for the coming year. We have a wonderful General Store that is full of wonderful arts and crafts from “LOCAL” artist. We even have a local potter that has an open studio where you can watch him work. We have so much entertainment on the weekend….music, movies, tours, tractor shows, arts and crafts, etc. The list is endless. Please get in touch with us about plugging into the south end of the state. We are also long time Farm Bureau customers.

    Thanks and Blessings,
