Tennessee is a berry nice place to be in the spring, thanks to three inviting strawberry festivals across the state.
Make your way to Portland on May 12 for the Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival, where visitors can start the day with a pancake breakfast, followed by a 5K race, live music, more than 100 vendors and a strawberry-eating contest.
The West Tennessee Strawberry Festival in Humboldt has been providing family fun for more than 75 years. The festival features a golf tournament, horse show, recipe contest, a fireworks show and more. This year’s event takes place May 6-12.
The Tennessee Strawberry Festival in Dayton celebrates 71 years in 2018 on May 12. The event’s mission is to promote small-town life and community values, celebrating with activities including a parade, pageants, live entertainment and, of course, strawberries.
