Sorghum Valley Christmas Village

0 Comments By

Discover a magical little village at the Dyer County Fairgrounds. Known as Sorghum Valley, the Old West village features small-scale buildings depicting what Dyersburg once looked like. Community members built the structures, including a church, one- room schoolhouse and covered bridge.

The Sorghum Valley Christmas Village opens to the public Dec. 8-10 from 6-9 p.m. for hot chocolate, Santa visits and a tree-decorating competition among local businesses. Admission is free, but visitors are asked to bring canned goods for local charities. To learn more, call (731) 445-5110, or visit dyerchamber.com.
