You can discover a lot venturing off the beaten path, and the Discover Tennessee Trails & Byways make it a little easier to find these hidden gems. Just look for the brown signs.
On the Top Secret Trail, the town of Wartburg is a gateway to many outdoor offerings. Located on the Cumberland Plateau’s eastern edge, it’s home to the Obed Wild & Scenic River and Frozen Head State Park, and the only town through which the Cumberland Trail State Scenic Trail passes. A work in progress, the Cumberland Trail will span 300 miles when completed, running from the Kentucky border to Signal Point near Chattanooga. Tennessee’s first linear state park, Justin P. Wilson Cumberland Trail State Park, follows the trail.

Would love to win a variety of gift items from trails throughout the state. I love The Tennessee Home & Farm Magazine.
Would love to visit that area!
