Rivers & Spires Festival

Clarksville’s annual Rivers & Spires Festival has taken top honors at the Southeast Festivals and Events Association Conference, winning two gold awards.

The celebration was named “Best Festival with a Budget over $75,000” and “Best Creative Idea.” The awards were given based on a presentation and list of criteria that the festival had to meet.

Very deserving of the honors, Rivers & Spires has been bringing free entertainment to the streets of downtown Clarksville for the past decade. The event is community-led, with a mission to bring a positive atmosphere and allow visitors to enjoy the arts, history and heritage of the city.

The 11th annual celebration will be held April 14-16, 2016, in historic downtown Clarksville. Admission is free, and includes access to games, activities and over 100 performers on five stages over the three days. For more information, visit riversandspires.com.
