The UT Gardens in Knoxville is going virtual in 2020 to connect with pet-loving members of the community for their annual Howl-O-Ween Pooch Parade and Pet Expo. Send in photos of your furry friends (or scaly/feathery friends), and they will share them during a virtual Facebook presentation on Sunday, Oct. 25. Those outside of the Knoxville community are also welcome to join in the fun.

Email photos of your pet(s) in their Halloween finery to utgardens@utk.edu. They’ll share pictures in several categories, so include your preference for grouping from the following:

  • Funny Bones (funny costume)
  • Bad to the Bone (scary costume)
  • Do(g) It Yourself (homemade costume)
  • Pup Culture (pop culture/character costume)
  • Bare Bones (no costume)
  • ImPURRsonators (non-canine pets)

*Send photos before 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, to be certain they will be included in the presentation. You can add pet names and costume details to your email if you like, and they will be included in the presentation as time allows. No judging, no prizes, just lots of furry fun!

Howl-O-Ween is presented by the UT Gardens, Knoxville and the UT College of Veterinary Medicine. For more information, visit their website and Facebook event page.
