Foothills Crafts Gift Shop

Just a mile off Interstate 24 in Manchester, Foothills Crafts Gift Shop offers one-of-a-kind pieces from local Tennessee artists.

Operating for more than 30 years by the Coffee County Craft Association, the nonprofit craft shop carries handmade treasures ranging from paintings, baskets and pottery to smocked dresses, knitted hats and birdhouses. But the crafts aren’t the only unique aspect of Foothills. The shop is set up as a co-op where juried local artists become “exhibiting members” in several categories. Only juried members can sell their crafts at the store, and they all take turns volunteering to work. The shop has no paid staff, and the more the artists work the store, the more percentage of their sales they receive.

Foothills Crafts Gift Shop is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. For more information, call (931) 728-9236 or email foothillscrafts@att.net.
