Tina Turner Heritage Days

Sept. 27-29, Brownsville

This celebration centers around the legacy of Flagg Grove School and its claim to fame as the alma mater of Anna Mae Bullock, now known as Tina Turner. The historic schoolhouse was moved from its original spot in Nutbush to the Delta Heritage Center in Brownsville. Fans gather from near and far to celebrate her music at the festival, which includes live music and local tours, among other attractions.
