Civil War Fashion Show

From jewelry and fans, to parasols and military uniforms, the fashion of the mid-1800s will be on display. The period reflected the Victorian era, when modesty was the rule. Fashion focused on the tightly laced corseted bodice with a natural waistline. Voluminous elaborately trimmed skirts worn over hoop petticoats and long full sleeves were also popular.
