This seminar is for the backyard grower and the commercial grower and is provided by Rock Bridge Trees in cooperation with the University of Tennessee Extension Service in Sumner County. Speakers from three states will discuss the basics of pecan culture in the Mid-South and farther north on Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m at 1050 Dry Fork Rd. in Bethpage. Lunch will be provided by The Gambling Stick of Nashville.
In the afternoon, visit Rock Bridge Trees Nursery, located just a mile up the road at 199 Dry Fork Creek Rd. in Bethpage. You will have the opportunity to hear from successful growers from the region and ask questions. Learn to select the right varieties and how to care for them to produce pecans.
