Pfitzer junipers
Spreading shrubby junipers of the Pfitzer types have multiple growing points and produce lots of cutting material. Blue forms include ‘Grey Owl,’ ‘Angelica Blue’ and ‘Holbert.’ Golden forms include ‘Gold Lace’, ‘Gold Coast’ and ‘Gold Sovereign.’ Narrow compact forms or naturally tight mounds will look ragged if cut heavily, so use sparingly in design, or place judiciously to conceal resulting damage.
