Owned and operated by Farm Bureau members, Swiss Pantry in Belvidere is a local bakery and bulk food store specializing in Mennonite and Amish products. It all started in 1987 when the Miller family moved from their Mennonite community in Virginia to Tennessee. They chose Belvidere for its beautiful farmland and quickly discovered the area’s rich Swiss heritage and tight-knit community, which made them feel right at home. The Millers decided to open a bakery that reflected their own heritage and the heritage of the locals – and Swiss Pantry was born.

Swiss Pantry is the go-to place for both locals and visitors seeking fresh breads, cakes, cookies, candies, deli meats and cheeses. They also offer eat-in sandwiches and homemade soups served daily. Stop by for homemade fried pies on Mondays and Thursdays or made-from-scratch doughnuts on the first and third Saturdays of every month.
