Five Best Bites of Music City’s Tastiest Food Festival

0 Comments By

We were lucky enough to attend the Music City Food + Wine Festival earlier this month, where we got to sample food from some of the Southeast’s best chefs. It was hard work, but we narrowed it down to our top five favorite bites from the food festival. Reviews from Jessy Yancey (JY) and Rachel Bertone (RB). For a complete Music City Food + Wine recap, check out our post on our sister site, Farm Flavor.

Pimento Burgers with Bacon Jam from FLIP Burger

Sure, there’s a lot of fancy foods to be found, but when it’s pouring rain, all you want is some comfort food. For me, that’s pimento cheese, and the marriage of my favorite Southern spread with a juicy, slider-sized burger hit the spot. I haven’t made it to FLIP Burger since it opened its Nashville “boutique” last year (it also has locations in Birmingham and Atlanta), but I now have a reason to go. –JY
