Enter to Win a Cookbook by Chef Mee McCormick of Pinewood Kitchen & Mercantile

53 Comments By

From being raised on food stamps and battling autoimmune diseases to culinary school, her own restaurant, and now releasing her second cookbook, Mee McCormick has come a long way with her relationship with food.

During her time at a professional culinary program, McCormick learned intensive allergy cooking training. That training has allowed her to offer a fully inclusive table at her restaurant, Pinewood Kitchen & Mercantile in Hickman County, where everyone can enjoy Southern comfort food without worry of food allergies and dietary restrictions.

McCormick’s second cookbook, My Pinewood Kitchen: A Southern Culinary Cure, features more than 130 comfort food recipes that may heal stomach pains, reduce inflammation and reverse chronic autoimmune diseases.
