Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree and Crafts Festival Celebrates 50 Years in 2021
The historic Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree and Crafts Festival celebrates its 50th anniversary this summer with two days of fiddling, square dancing and good eats. This year’s event, entitled The Jamboree Family Reunion, will feature live Appalachian-style bluegrass music, dance, handcrafted art and food booths galore. Have a toe-tappin’ good time as musicians and dancers from across the nation compete in more than 35 music and dance categories, including the National Championship for Country Musician Beginners. Handmade arts and crafts booth categories include woodwork, pottery, jewelry, regionally based artisans and more.
This nationally televised festival has received visitors from across the world, thanks to the PBS special feature event airing live, along with web streaming through dtc3.tv.
