Ag in the Classroom Celebrates 30 Years

0 Comments By

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Tennessee Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC). For three decades, the Foundation has been connecting students with agriculture by providing resources for teachers and volunteers that enrich students’ understanding of the vital role agriculture plays in our everyday lives. AITC provides a variety of hands-on, supplemental curriculum materials for grades pre-K through 12 that teach all school subjects while incorporating information and real-life examples from agriculture.

To celebrate the anniversary, AITC has launched a “30 for 30 Challenge” to raise funds for the program. You can participate by donating $30 in honor of the program’s 30 years.

To learn more about AITC or to find out how to make a donation, visit tnfarmbureau.org/tn-ag-in-the-classroom or call (931) 388-7872.
