Batey Farms Strawberries

Editor’s note (Feb. 5, 2024): Batey Farms will not have strawberries for picking during the spring 2024 season, but they plan to be back in 2025.

Head to Batey Farms in Murfreesboro this spring for fresh-from-the-patch strawberries.

The farm, which also sells farm-fresh sausage and other pork products, opens its strawberry patch to the public for picking each spring. Guests can grab a busket (combination bucket and basket) and pick as many berries as they wish. All berries are sold by the pound, with U-pick berries ringing in at $3.75 per pound and prepicked berries at $4.50 per pound.

After you’ve gathered your berries, relax under one of the farm’s shade trees. You can even bring a blanket and picnic lunch to enjoy.

Batey’s 2022 U-pick strawberry season is expected to start around May 1. For more information, call (615) 848-4178 or visit bateyfarms.com/strawberries.
