Shooting Hunger Event

It’s the season of giving, and one great beneficiary is Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, a local food bank working to feed the hungry. Every shooter who participated in the Shooting Hunger Sporting Clays Fun Shoot contributed 440 meals, for a total of more than 166,000 meals.

The event, sponsored by Tennessee Farm Bureau, Farm Credit Mid-America and Tennessee Farmers Co-op, takes place each fall to raise awareness about Tennessee agriculture and raise funds for Second Harvest. In addition to the individual shooters, every five-person team in the event provided 2,000 meals to the food bank.
