Field Trip to the Farm at Falcon Ridge
The Farm at Falcon Ridge in Toone is the place to be for springtime fun on the farm. The fourth generation farming family calls 240 acres in West Tennessee home and has an on-site market, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and an assortment of homegrown fruits and veggies.
Every spring, the Gilmer family, who are Hardeman County Farm Bureau members, invites people to come to the farm for the annual Strawberry Festival. Usually held mid to late May, the festival includes pony rides, a petting zoo, hayrides and, of course, lots of strawberries. The cost of admission also includes 1 pound of pick-your-own strawberries for each guest.
