The arrival of spring means it’s time to break out the lawn mower and tackle your lawn.
But not so fast – like your car, your mower needs regular tuneups, especially after sitting idle all winter long.
John Deere’s new Ready to Mow service makes it easy for customers to get back in the swing of things.
By contacting a local John Deere dealer, homeowners can have a technician sent straight to their door to perform a 14-point maintenance and inspection service on all lawn and garden tractors, including changing oil, air filters and spark plugs, sharpening mower blades, and checking safety systems.
The service is offered in Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga and Knoxville, and if there isn’t a dealer in your town, they will travel up to 100 miles. You can learn more at the John Deer site by clicking here.
I need a 7 year old John Deere riding mower serviced. Who in Nashville,Tn does this?
Hi Don,
Please fill out the form here: https://readytomow.deere.com/servicerequest/create/step1.do
If that doesn’t work, it seems you could try contacting Tri Green Equipment for servicing, which has locations in Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet and Franklin: http://www.trigreenequipment.com/
Hope this helps. Thanks!

I have an LT 155 mower that needs the blades sharpened or replaced. Would like to have it done at the house if possible. 423-432-5247
I contacted Homestead Lawn and Tractor, Cleveland, TN which is the authorized JD dealer for my area and they said they didn’t make home service calls:(
I have a John Deere mower that I bought last year. I hit a piece of wood with the left front tire today and it jerked the front wheel sideways. I can’t get it to turn at all. I tried backing it up but the wheel just dragged sideways. I have no way of getting it to a service dealer. Could you please help me?
